Chief Master Sergeant Steven C. George is the Chief Enlisted Manager of the Air Force Petroleum Office, Fort Belvoir, Virginia. He is responsible for providing guidance and solutions to ensure safe and efficient fuels and cryogenic operations across 209 locations, impacting over 5,400 enlisted Fuels personnel. Additionally, Chief George serves as the primary advisor to the Air Force Petroleum Office commander on the morale, welfare, and professional development of 26 enlisted personnel across five locations around the world

 

Chief George grew up in Hampton Roads, Virginia and entered the Air Force in January 1990. His career includes numerous assignments covering the full spectrum of fuels management flight operations under multiple major commands with tours to North Carolina, Arkansas, Georgia, Virginia, Guam, United Kingdom, Germany, and the Republic of Korea. Chief George has also completed staff tours at the Numbered Air Force and Major Command levels.
